WATCH: Howard Dean Spreads Whopper Of A Lie About Beto And Trump Rallies
President Donald Trump held a rally in El Paso, Texas on Monday night.
Right down the road, Robert “Beto” O’Rourke counter programmed a rally.
El Paso is O’Rourke’s hometown.
So how did that work out?
Well, safe to say, Trump outdrew O’Rourke, despite the efforts of some on the left to suggest otherwise.
Organizers estimated the O’Rourke event had about 7,000. El Paso police estimates of the O’Rourke event put it between 10-15,000.
The Trump arena held 6500.
So many on the left just printed those figures.
But what they left out were the overflow crowd at the Trump rally who couldn’t get in and were outside, some 10-12 thousand, according to police.
The Trump rally was packed inside and outside.
So Trump’s overflow crowd was 10-12 thousand, but Trump also had the 6,500 in the arena. Pretty clearly beats Beto.
And this was in El Paso, O’Rourke’s hometown.
And Trump dwarfed O’Rourke in another way as well.
As O’Rourke spoke on the stage at his event, a giant monitor showed behind him showing the Trump event to the overflow crowd and Trump on the monitor. Music from the Trump rally could be heard at the O’Rourke event.
