Since the #MeToo movement hit and during the Supreme Court hearings for Justice Brett Kavanaugh, American were told constantly by those on the left that we must “believe all women.”
This apparently was regardless of fact, evidence, corroboration or lack thereof.
So when Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax was hit with an sexual assault allegation from an incident that allegedly happened at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, one would think that Democrats would spring to support the female accuser in the case.
No such luck.
Not only didn’t they rush to her defense, they pretended that they hadn’t even heard of the scandal rocking Virginia, a dramatic national story, when a reporter from the Daily Caller, Henry Rodgers, tried to ask them about it on Tuesday.
The reporter chased down 10 Democrats.
Every single one of them dodged and pretended they hadn’t heard about it.
Here’s Bernie Sanders dodging and running:
When Rodgers caught him later, Sanders pretended he was on the phone.
From Daily Caller:
“I haven’t even looked at the details about that. I really haven’t. I just know the high level. I haven’t really looked at the details about any of that. It’s a tough situation but I just don’t look at the details. It’s just not something that I’ve focused on,” Alabama Democratic Sen. Doug Jones said to TheDCNF.
“Well I think we’ve got to get more information at this point. I don’t have anything other than just the very initial information. Certainly it needs to be taken seriously. But. We’ll have to. Get more information,” Michigan Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow told TheDCNF.
“I don’t know who Justin Fairfax is,” California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein told TheDCNF. When she was reminded who he was, she responded by saying, “I don’t want to get into that.”
“You know I sort of left most of this to Tim and Mark who have been following that,” Connecticut Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy told TheDCNF, speaking about the two Democratic Virginia Senators and not saying if he believes the accuser.
They played this same game with the vile comments by Gov. Ralph Northam that many believed to approve infanticide.
Strangely enough, all of Democrats had no problem keeping up with the news and attacking Brett Kavanaugh without any corroboration of the claims.
