It’s perhaps not surprising that have liberals celebrities get political while on awards shows. But the Grammys on Sunday night did manage to do even worse. Remember the ridiculous book, “Fire and Fury” by Michael Wolff, that was so untruthful about the Trump White House that the author even had to put a disclaimer in it? Liberal ‘celebrities’ including Hillary Clinton read portions of it during the show. So UN Ambassador Nikki Haley blasted them but good in a terrific tweet.
Grammys host James Corden speculated on who might win the ‘best-spoken word’ album next year, speculating it might be Wolff’s book.
From Daily Wire:
“We know that our current president does love winning awards and the good news is he may just be the subject of next year’s winner,” Corden said. “The question I’ve got is, who’ll be the narrator?”
Trump hates Cher and John Legend were then shown auditioning to be narrator for Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury: Inside The Trump White House.”
Then rappers Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled and Cardi B read excerpts trying out for the job. Finally, Clinton — at first completely hidden by the book — read a passage about Trump loving fast food and Corden said, “That’s it! We’ve got it!”
“You think so? The Grammy’s in the bag?” Clinton said.
“In the bag!”
Naturally, the Grammy crowd thought reading a book full of nonsense was just great, clapping wildly.
But Nikki Haley set them straight with a great tweet.
“I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.”
The book has multiple things in it that have been disproved. Wolff basically said he just threw in things people told him without fact-checking it or determining its validity.
Wolf has implied that Haley and President Trump had an affair. “The president had been spending a notable amount of private time with Haley on Air Force One and was seen to be grooming her for a national political future,” he wrote in his book.
Haley called that rumor is “disgusting” and said “It is absolutely not true.”
One thing about it is true. That obviously Trump recognizes the talent of smart women like Haley and she’s doing a terrific job as the UN Ambassador.
It’s typical for the Trump haters like Cher and John Legend to be included in such a bashing attempt.
Hollywood claims to care about sexual asssault and harassment but then includes Hillary Clinton who not only covered up for her husband, but was just outed for covering up for an adviser, allowing him to allegedly continue his harassment elsewhere.
Pretty sad that Hillary is still so desperate for attention that she’d participate in promotion for such a discredited book that tries to smear another woman like Haley.
Champion of Women strikes again.
